Many people today are searching for significance. In the midst of busy lives, there is often a deep down need to know that there is something beyond ourselves and the ever changing world around us that is changeless. The love of Go expressed to humanity through Jesus Christ offers us peace and hope that brings meaning to our lives.

We at The Parish of North Gower are a people devoted to embracing the love of Jesus in our own lives and sharing it with the people of our community and beyond. We are people on a journey. We do not pretend to have arrived yet, but as we journey we remain open to God’s love and forgiveness working in our lives. We are a church community devoted to knowing, living, and growing in the love of God through Jesus Christ. We invite you to journey with us.

Holy Trinity, together with St. John’s Pierce’s Corners, comprise the Anglican Parish of North Gower, which is part of the Anglican Diocese of Ottawa and the Anglican Church of Canada. The Anglican Church is a world wide Church, often referred to as “The Anglican Communion.” Its roots are in the Reformation, and it was one of the first churches established in Canada. Our fore fathers built Anglican churches across the country, including the far north. Today, the Anglican Church of Canada continues to be a Church that is grounded in a long tradition of faithfulness to God through adherence to Holy Scripture. It is a Church that strives to remain open to how God is working in fresh ways in our world today.

One of the unique features of The Anglican Church is its style of liturgical worship. Worship is based on following the liturgical settlings provided in the Anglican prayer books. Sunday morning services are usually within the liturgical setting of the Holy Eucharist or Lord’s Supper. At Holy Trinity and St. John’s Pierces Corners, we offer a blend of worship within the Anglican tradition that honours the best of the old and newer forms of music and liturgical prayers.

Come and worship with us!
